Good afternoon everyone –
The Airport Authority has made the determination that the Airport will be closed as of 4 p.m. tomorrow (Wednesday) and will remain closed until 7 a.m. on Friday (11/11) due to the incoming storm.
SER staff will finalize all of our preparations tomorrow no later than 4 p.m. As with Ian, the water with this storm will be our largest threat – please take the opportunity to move as many items as possible off the floor.
With this storm event, some gates will remain open but they are to be used for essential access only (meaning Airport personnel).
