If you're interested in venturing out to get that $100 hamburger, here are a couple airports around Florida you can fly in to, to get a quick bite.  I do recommend you call ahead to verify hours of operation as many have unique schedules.  Arranged in random order and not by popularity.

• Williston X60 has “Pyper Kub”
• Tampa North X39 has “Happy Hangar Cafe”
• DeLand KDED has two, ‘The Perfect Spot’ and the ‘Airport Restaurant & Gin Mill’
• Spruce Creek 7FL6 has "Downwind Cafe"
• Zephyrhills KZPH has a restaurant at the skydiving center.
• St Pete Albert Whitted KSPG has ‘The Hangar’ on the 2nd floor of FBO and is right across the street from the Dali museum. Great airspace awareness flight.
• Bartow KBOW has “Runways at Bartow”
• Sebastian X26 has a skydiving center with a restaurant.
• Vero Beach KVRB has “CJ Cannons” and the Piper factory.
• Sebring KSEF has breakfast and lunch in the FBO. Aerobatic practice days about once a month.
• Okeechobee KOBE has a place for breakfast and lunch in the FBO “Landing Strip Cafe”
• Arcadia X06 has ‘Taco Tuesday’s’ where a taco truck is there on
• Venice KVNC has “Suncoast Cafe”, You can also ask the FBO to call for courtesy car from Sharky's/Finn's at the pier to pick you up for a meal and/or beach day.
• Airglades 2IS has a food truck on weekends.
• Ft Myers, Page KFMY had free hotdogs on Fridays. Mel's Diner and Panera Bread across from Base Op's.
• Fort Lauderdale KFXE has the “Jet Runway cafe”.
• Everglades X01 has bikes you can rent to ride into town.
• Homestead X51 had a food truck on weekends (don’t quote me).
• Marathon KMTH has a few places within walking distance. Bring me a key lime pie....
• Flagler KFIN has HighJackers
• Lakeland KLAL second floor main building has a restaurant, Waco Kitchen.
• Winter-Haven KGIF has “Flight Line Cafe”
• Saint Simons Island KSSI has sweet “SOUTHERN SOUL BBQ”
• Orlando KORL has restaurant opportunities available if you want to start the next on field restaurant!
• Fort Pierce KFPR has “Airport Tiki”
• Sanford KSFB has a food truck on weekends in front of L3 also a "Jet-A-Way Cafe" restaurant at the FBO open on weekdays but I think it is under new ownership.
• Key West KEYW has “The Conch Flyer”
• Sarasota international KSRQ has the “Runway Grill” right across from the FBO
• New Smyrna KEVB has “Island Hoppers” and “Lost Lagoon”
• Pierson 2J8 has “M&E BBQ” 1000 feet north of the runway.
• Punta Gorda KPGD has “The Junction” & Skyview Cafe.
• Naples KAPF has “Michelbobs BBQ”
• Saint Augustine KSGJ has “Hangar One Bistro”Call for reservations (5 Star Dining)
• Ocala KOCF recently opened "Elevation 89" .
• Crystal River KCGC has Dairy Queen right outside the gate of the FBO ramp. (Arby's and Applebee's right down the street)
• Cedar Key KCDK When arriving on CTAF, lady will ask if you need a ride to town/warf.  She'll meet you before you even park on the ramp.  She charges $10 per person round trip.
• River Ranch Resort 2RR Westgate River Ranch Resort has a delicious buffet for breakfast, lunch or dinner.  Every Saturday Night, you can fly in for the rodeo.
• Jekyll Island 09J has electric golf cars for rent at the FBO and all kinds of food options in town. Neat place.
• NASA Shuttle Landing Facility KTTS you can't land, but what a bucket list item to have flown an approach down to 100' off the deck that the Space Shuttle missions took coming home from space.
• Gainesville Regional Airport KGNV off airport restaurant, Satchel's Pizza
• Labelle X14 - Taqueria San Julian Just off the airport
• Lake City KLCQ - The Landing (Buffet)
