Plane Wash & Wax
This Saturday morning we’ll be holding our 3rd Quarter Plane Wash and Wax to keep our fleet looking fresh and pretty for our members to fly. Peter has a great meal planned for us. Come on out and get to know the other members and help out. If you need access to the SouthEast Ramp, call my cell number (386-215-3322) and we’ll meet you at the gate for escorted entry.
We’ll also offer classes on using FlightCircle for dispatching and scheduling if needed.
It’s a sad day for Ocala Pilots
About a week ago, I flew N4785N to Ocala for lunch. Something I’ve done quite often over the last two years as well as some of our other members in the club. Well, the waitress that took my order let me know that as of the middle of Sept, they will be closing and moving to Bunnell. Not another airport, just the city of Bunnell. I think I can speak for others, in saying, it will be sadly missed. I recommend, if you get a chance, go visit one last time before they close the doors.

When is the new date for Plane Wash n Wax?

We are scheduled to meet with the board on the 24th, and will have a new date committed at that meeting. As soon as I get a new date confirmed, I’ll publish it as a newsletter.
