Garmin has an install that works with Windows XP through Windows 10 for training on the GNS-530/430. You can download it from our website here. It is a zip file that needs to be extracted and then installed.

Updated: 15 Sept. 2018 – Found the more recent version for download that for most windows operating systems.
i can not find where to open the sim? it goes to the maintenance repair only
You may have a block on downloading zip files. This is a link to a zip file and shows that the link works to download. Try right clicking the link and save link location to your computer, then try opening the file.
